Excellence, Persistence, Integrity, Innovation, and Continued Improvement…As much as I iterate the features of a product, I try to iterate myself. There’s always something to learn and improve on.
2. I’m excited and knowledgeable about UX trends in 2023!
In the past year, I read over 9 books on UX, attended seminars on accessibility & UX law, and took courses to keep up with the latest UX trends.
3. I love what I do.
A few years ago, while studying full-time as a UX student, I was also teaching art classes and painting murals. Then I worked at a FinTech Startup putting in 11+ hours/day for awhile, continuing to improved the product. It’s one of my life mottos to work hard so I can play hard…and the two tend to blend since “playing” sometimes involves UX!

The design process makes me critically think (the thing I respect most about myself). By analyzing data and using empathy in research, my designs hold up in presentations to stakeholders and to the users experiencing them.
5. I live for critique.
As a 9 on the Enneagram, I love to see ALL sides of a debate- plus, it’s another chance to think critically.

Work is never wasted. There is always learning in the process and a way to use the knowledge down the road.

8. I see the BIG picture.
A teeny tiny mural design for the Muhammad Ali Center can seem untranslatable to a 30 foot mural wall with a big audience…the same as starting from scratch on an app feature. But never losing sight of the big picture and keeping open communication helps execute the project with precision.
9. I learn quickly and stick around.
Ever tried living with people who only speak Italian...and you don’t?
